How long have you had the car???

If you just got it, let it sit in the sun for a good 4 hours!! At the hottest part of day. Like 11AM to 3PM. Make sure the trunk is facing the sun the whole time. Then take some dental floss or some fishing line and go to work. If it is hot enough, the 3.2 CL part will come off in your hand with VERY LITTLE effort. The A-C-U-R-A will take a little more effort. If it is hot enough, slip the line between the paint and the glue and slide it through. It should come right off. If it leaves some residue behind, take some cleaner to it. Then wax and BOOOYA!!!!!!!

i didn't even use fishing line. i let it sit in the sun till it was good and hot, then i just pulled them off w/ my fingers. didn't leave any sticky stuff behind. next i used buffing compound to remove any evidence, then wax.

If you don't want to bake your car, just pour some warm/hot water over the area. I did mine the 2nd day I had it and the same time I was washing/waxing it anway. Used some floss underneath just for good measure.

Use some Goo Gone to wipe off any extra residue.

And if it's not sunny where you are (if you live in a cave or something), you can always use a hair dryer to get 'er hot.

Use some minor scratch remover if you have any around where the emblems were. I would put some wax on after emblems are off.

Let me know if you want to sell your A-C-U-R-A letters.

I've been looking for some.

The "A" that has the ring around it, has two pegs that mount into the trunk.

The A-C-U-R-A and the 3.2 CL and the Type S are all just stuck on.

Here is a pic of my baby. I took off everything that I could without having to do any kind of body work!!!

Yeah FL is hot enough. I did mine in May, & even then I didn't even need floss, or anything. I was able to pull the lettering off with my fingers.
