Mike I saw your other thread, looks good man...btw when you install the rotors, technically the top of the slots should point to the front of the car...I did mine the other way, but when you see real slotted brembos on high end cars, they install it like that...you wont be disappointed...what kind of blanks were they?

if I will be ever buying a new set... I will go with SSR Competition 18x8 +42 (hope it does not rub) and will put 235/40/18 ES100 or Toyo T1-S!

Another option is to consider Centerline wheel if they ever make 18x8 with +42 or +45!

hmmmmm ..... lets see how many people recognize these:

FKSE, Kenesis, Forgeline, Work, Blitz, BBS, HRE, and SSR of course.

basically if you wanna spend the coin on a 3pc. make sure that you can buy just the lip instad of another rim.

(We'd recognize more of them if they were spelled right. )

Fikse, Kinesis, Forgeline, HRE, SSR

Then try: Spoon, Circle Racing, Manaray Racing

I don't believe Blitz makes a forged wheel.

Fikse and Kinesis are popular in the US amongst monied amateur racers. You often find them on Corvette Z06's.

Amongst less monied racers such as I, you find Volk Racing TE37's (still kind of expensive); SSR Competitions, GT1s & Integrals (very good performance to price ratio, semi-forged); Buddy Club P1/Kosei K1 (even better performance to price ratio, cast), Rota (knockoffs of Mugens and Spoons), OZ Superleggeras (I have 'um), and BBS RKs (very popular on Bimmers).

The best tuner wheels would be. Not in any particular order.

18x7.5" Volk SE37k's in bronze
18x8.5" front and 18x9.5" rear Work VS-SS in black chrome w/polished lip
19x8.5" BBS LM's
