BesT Track times ever sun. sept.28

rt. 60ft 330ft 1/8mile 1/8mph 1000ft 1/4mile 1/4 et
0.57 2.18 6.07 9.20 77.65 11.90 79.29 14.215
temp. 53% humidty was 67%

The reason I think I did so well today, was I usally have tires set at 33# and launch at between 1400 to 1600rpm I decided to try 30# tires and went to 1750rpm with no tire spin 60ft @2.20 which gave me 14.33 then I went to 1850rpm 60ft@2.19 which gave me a 14.31 then i went to 1950rpm 60ft@2.18 which gave me 14.215 {at 2000rpm 60ft@2.29 } my miles were down from yesterday but et was also down, I dont beat up on my car but to day I punished it. I am going to give it a rest or till the b-pipe shows up or we try a diffrent track like RT41 morrocco ind.
There are 4 of us with type S , 3 accords -02 with S/C and 1 accord -03 auto that go race together. When we have our meets there are other acuras and accords but they are show cars not interested in racing.

Nice runs !! Seems like the lesson is, lower tire pressure and higher RPM launch.

John .. congrats on that time.. you said you wanted your 14.2 back, and now you got it..

Do you still think the port and polishing really adversely affected your power? Seems that it didn't do anything .. but then again, youwould know based on the feel of 1st and 2nd gears.

Wish I could have made it Sunday .. I would have loved to dip into the 14.5's or 14.6's...

Good to hear you made it back to your 14.2's. To bad I couldn't make it, but I had my own fun at the car show in Lake Geneva. Instead I punished my car in the twisty back roads with the new sway bars and your STB. Thanks again. The both together sure made a difference. I never took that road that fast ever before.

Just woundering, do you know what kind of ET times does 350Z, G35 coupe, S2000 or EVO VIII run at 50 degree temp? I know it is a off topic but I am in CA and we don't see that kind of track temps.

Nice ET & mph's. 2.18 60' on a heavy non-lsd fwd is pretty decent on street tires.

Those et times for the 350z and s2000 are at least .5 second quicker and 5 mph faster. We have an average of about 85 degree track temp during summer. Thanks for the info.
