Best tire for SoCal Weather?
Best tire for SoCal Weather?
Im going to replace the stock tires. But am trying to figure out what to replace them with. I am in SoCal so don't really need to worry about how they drive on snow/ice. I was thinking something like Summer Performance tires. So what do you thing is best for sticking to the road? Something good for everyday speeding and won't do to bad at the track one the few occasions I go.

I am going to exclude the OEM size as an obligation to be kept, according to manual, so that we dont start 4 page threads again.
So excluding that factor, I would go with the following in the order they appear with first being the most desirable (also I am excluding csot as a factor):
1. Bridgeston S03 Pole Position
2. Michelin Pilot Sport
3. Bridgeston S02 Pole Position
4. Pirelli P Zero Rosso (make sure the "rosso" is there)
5. Michelin MXX3 SX
6. BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD
7. Pirelli P Zero

Ok, Gabvrill...
Will place you between 2 CL-S vehicles equipped with Toyo T1S Proxies. Will tie your arms and legs to bumpers of both cars. Then will stand on gas.
If your arms and legs are still connected (to your body), I will concede that Toyos suck....
Man I'm gunna have to get you off that TireRack fix.
