I don't know that they are the "best" but they are damn good. I've used them on mutiple cars and trucks. Never had one warp on me. From my heavy Tahoe with the sport rotors and GreenStuff pads, to my 74 914 that was tracked several times, to a few daily drivers including my CLS. I've had no complaints with the Green Stuff or the Yellow Stuff. But I used the Red Stuff on my 225WHp 298WTQ Jetta and they wore out pretty darn fast. But I was very hard on them. The Yellow Stuff pads seem to be working, lasting and dusting pretty good. Better than I expected for a heavy car (aka CLS). All of EBC's rotors in the past were cast from UK steel. Until recenly they started casting them in Japan. That is where the EBC sprot rotors for the CLS are cast now.

I'd look into DBA rotors too. A bit more doe though. I might try them on my next high ouput car. Probably go with the DBA rotors and the Carbotech pads next time. you know, just to mix it up a bit.

was thinkin of getting some rotora rotors since my oem ones will need to be replaced soon...but as someone said, it's mostly personal as to what you wanna buy...especially if you're in a tight budget like me...

I've just been using the $30 ones from any auto parts store. They last about 15k so even if you have to replace them twice as often they're cheaper then the more expensive ones. Takes less then an hour to replace 2 rotors.

Which DBA's are you using? XS, 4000 series or the 5000?

Oh yes, that was one other draw back to the Red Stuff. Don't get me wrong, the Red Stuff would stop my Jetta so fast you would almost want to throw up!

Avoid the Rotora's at all costs. Worst money I've ever spent.

Tried the PowerSlot Cyro's ... slightly better than the Rotora's.

Currently running the DBA's. So much better than the pos's mentioned above.

Yeah DBA's certainly hv a good fan following...
I've run EBC slotted/drilled along with Greenstuff pads and they were quite good..
I just got my new delivery of EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors and Satisfied Gransport 6 pads...

Will install them soon along with new wheels, rims,PIAA lights and a new paintjob...
Sorry, just got carried away there thinking abt the new look of my baby..

But yes EBC rotors are certainly up there..
