I just replaced mine with OEM. The rumor is that it has the same holding power as the comptech piece. The only benefit with the comptech piece is the lighter fly wheel. However, there are at least two companies coming out with new clutch assemblies by the end of February. Do a search and you will come up with some threads about a Competition Clutch and one other company I can’t remember off the top of my head. They are supposed to have substantially more holding power as well as a lighter fly wheel.

your car looks humpable. Look for SirSig or 02AV6. They've done the same conversion you are talking about. Good look...

AND DAMN YOUR HONDA IS NICE!

That is one nice Accord... I had a 98 and it didn'tlook anything like that!

I did a fair bit of research before I replaced the clutch and flywheel on my CLS and I went with the OEM as there were many high HP applications that had the OEM clutch with no problems. It has been a year with no regrets...

exactly what i was thinking, definitely talk to SirSig or 02AV6, I'm thinking you're probably gonna want stock though.

so stick to oem clutch,
in regards to flywheel, is comptech the only one that makes one? im deff lookin for a lighter flywheel.

As for talking to sirsig and the other guy, i think i might be perminently banned from v 6 p , caz i mouth off to the mods, its actually only a 1 month ban, but i doubt it will get lifted.

PS: i dont wanna flood an acura site with honda pics, but if u want them you got them

you don't need to go far. PM me.

as for the clutch and flywheel, you can use clutchmaster six puck clutch but it will wear out easily and for lighten flywheel Spec has one and soon ACT...
