BBK Question?

BBK Question?
Anyone have issues with Brake Bias when running RL Calipers? I saw a thread on the TL side but wasn't sure about the CL's.
If so, is there anyway to bring the brake bias somewhat back to normal?
Thanks,

I don't think Brake bias will be an issue with RL Calipers or Stoptech BBK. Even if bias is slightly changed don't think it will matter unless you are using car on road courses.
Don't really need a rear BBK to even bias. You could build custom bbk.
I eventually plan to run new Brake lines with an adjustable proportioning valve I can adjust from cockpit.
I am more concerned with how abs will react to lower weight, etc. Might want to get rid of it.
Stoptech builds their kits specifically for stock proportioning. Just beef up the rear pads.

A production fwd car with 60/40 weight distribution, would need front brakes with 50% more torque output than the rear brakes.
There are other things to consider when determining Brake bias. Tire traction, center of gravity, wheelbase, weight transfer, Brake pad material, rotor diameter, caliper piston diameter, etc.

Yea I am looking at it right now and the design looks totally different then our master. Is our master 2 pistons? Wanted to see if we could swap the RL master onto our car to help with the lack of fluid we would have in our system to operate the calipers correctly. Has anyone tried this before with success?

Our XLR8 Stoptech Touring BBKs are designed to not throw off the stock brake bias. I'm not sure about RL calipers though, I don't know how they would impact brake bias. Since they are designed for a different car, they might throw it off.

And I've engaged ABS before with the BBK, seems to work fine to me.
