can you turn up the power on your factory HID ballast, may be a stupid ? but id like to know, because of the 12K bulbs i just installed

i dont think the ballasts make any difference, atleast not for aftermarket ones. its just the bulbs.

if u bought some aftermarket bulbs, depending on what company, not all of them are as good as they show in the picture.

i have "10kk" bulbs on my car, but the light up like 6-8kk, because its cheap brand.

 

actually no you can't turn up the power in the ballast but one thing is the higher the temp color bulb you buy the lower the lumen output your going to get. The 4300K lights are not the brightest but they shed the most light if that makes sense.

 

12k lights probably produce the same amount of light as a bathroom nitelight.
