Well I just received my WW front lip couple days ago... Here are some pix! Oh, i also returned my FUJIFILM s2000hd camera cuz it SUX... lol I just ordered the NIKON D60 So that should be in soon too!!
I will be cutting the lip into 3 peices in a couple days and sanding and primering it

What do you guys think about me cutting the wavy looking thing on the sides!? Seriously thinking about it...

As you can see, i already started repairing some things that was wrong with it...

if u cut the sides you'll have to go a good job moulding it or something so it looks right

have you tried just mounting it to see how well it fits? ww is so rubbery you can easily wrap it around before you cut it just to eye it out.

Definitely get rid of those sides. Sand them down like crazy if you have to so it fits nicer on the sides. Good luck with the project.

This is funny that you are trying this. There was one of these lips in the bm for like a hundred bucks a few months back and I really thought about taking a crack at it. But once I had seen how it looked with those little wings on the side on a tl I was like naaw not gonna look good... gonna get flamed. Never thought to cut it off and mold it So basically good luck, hope somebody finds a cheap solution to the cl's boring front end.

When you do cut off the sides......do it at a bias angle, so that it will be easier to mold. If you cut it flat straight across, you are going to have alot harder time molding it into the bumber. But thats just my 2 cents.....lol

A little sanding will do the trick and I really dont like the wavy thing on the sides... so its coming off...

Ok here it is! I cut the wing thing, but havent sanded it or bondo'd it to make it look sexy yet... just a test fit! I also need to cut the inside part of the lip because its getting in the way of trying to flex it... But other than that, Im lovin it It should be sanded and primered by today...

Yeah would be nice to have something in the front of my CL.

My girlfriend said the front end looks old...that sucks!

Maybe the lip will give it a little updated look.

Curious to see the end results...keep up the good work and informative posts.

u didn't quote my edit. fail. i think you need more sanding, less taping and more gluing.

i used this:

worked wonders

and don't use bondo, use poly flex.

Can't wait to see it finished. Seems like the lip flows into the bumper nicer than the 01-02 tl lip. Nice work.

got a little ahead of yourself there. you will have to resand, refill and reprime once you get it installed and the gaps filled. appear to be on the right track though take lippstuh's note...make sure to align the lip with that front bumper line.

and btw lippstuh...what is that crap, sencere?? everyone knows to use elmers!

Basically done! Just need a little more sanding here and there... Finished yesterday! So it took me about 2 days

I did not use any bondo or polyflex or anything! It lined up real good! No gaps like the test fit... But I think I will use some bondo on the parts where I cut to make it MORE even looking

you said there's no gaps? you could have not cut if if there were no gaps, maybe made a few cuts to lessen the stress while it wraps around the bumper...

but it looks good. did u prep your bumper? if not it'll just fall off after you scrap it a few times.
