Bad Throttle Position Sensor

Well I took my car in yesterday b/c my check engine light, and both of the VSA lights had come on. Some of the other symptoms were abnormal idle RPMs. (Fluctuated between 700 & 1100 RPMs.)

After talking to the service rep today, he says I have a bad
"Throttle Position Sensor"

He claims that because the throttle position sensor was busted, it also affects the traction control (for some reason I can't remember, but he made it sound legit at the time).

So apparently it isn't my transmission that's busted. I hadn't felt any slippage in the transmission. It felt just as tight as the day I had it replaced. (I was almost hoping it was my transmission so that I could Lemon Law it.:o)

Ohh well...
