Back for Night court, some ?s

Ok just got back from California court, LA superior in Valencia to be exact

I attended night court, had a pro temp running it. The judge informed me that I was elgible for traffic school so I grabbed that, didn't want to go into the trial in a month or so. Sure, the officer may not show up then, but I don't want to go through with the court again.. ITS a SCARY PLACE!

Then I go to the clerk, and she says NO, I'm not elgibile. IM like WTF! the pro temp said I was. Shes like, no no no, we accessed your juvenile records and they show that about 17 months ago, you got your last ticket. Damn damn damn. Anyways, she says I can still go to traffic school, and the DMV will put add no point to the system, but I will have the ticket on record for 3 years.

I tried to get the woman to write this in writing, but she was being a bitch and wouldn't do it. What are your guys thoughts? Am I being played here?

I was given a large list of traffic school places I could attend, then a list of home study ones for online or videos. Im gonna do the online class.

What ONLINE class should I do? I want one that has no timer, and I can do it quickly, like 2 hours or so. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the long post, but my parents think that this seems fishy. The clerks called this method "masking", point is gone, but ticket stays..... If I was indeed already past the 18 month stage, then the ticket and point will be erased, and the infraction would cease to exist. Your thoughts please?

Sorry for the long post

Nick

i accessed the DMV site, and the 2nd dismissal the DMV does within 18 months, they notify the insurance carrier. My insurance, AAA, is based on point system. I dont think my insurance will go up. Lets hope. Also, there could be lost of papers or no call made

hotel: how many cases have you won out of the total? officer just not showing up? or what? or have you actually argued the law when the officer does indeed show up? are you a avid member of www.helpigotaticket.com ???
