2016 Nights Headlights
if you are in Canada, then No, you can't turn it off as it is required by law.
USA? You might have to go to the dealership and have them deactivate it if it is not mandated by law.
When I re-upped my insurance for the '16 RDX, I asked "don't you want to know what safety equipment the car has?" I asked because in years past they would always ding me if the car I was insuring didn't have daytime running lights.
The nice lady on the phone said, "we know exactly what safety equipment your new car has from the VIN number."
Point being: if you deactivate any safety item on your car, and something bad happens that can be attributed -- in any way -- to that action, you're probably gonna pay dearly for such a decision.
Insurance companies view daytime running lights as an important safety feature. I don't agree with them, but they are not persuaded by my opinions.
