Hey guys, I just had my mechanic swap my transmission to a BAYA transmission that I sourced after the tranny on my 01 Acura CL-S died. I wanted to ask if the D4 drive mode is still usable, and if sport shift mode would still work. Kinda too afraid to put them in those modes without knowing beforehand, figured I'd ask the knowledgeable folks here.

If your mechanic followed the 'swap' criteria on the attached PDF, then there should not be any issue with sport shift mode working with the AV6 transmission.

The guy below states that he regularly abused his AV6, most likely in the manual 'sport shift mode' functionality, since he eventually performed a full 6 speed swap.
