Is there an alarm that would automatically lock the doors and close the windows and sunroof when you activate it? Or is there something that we can add to the factory alarm that would allow us to do this?

I haven't heard of anything that you can add to the factory alarm. But I heard you can add something like that to an aftermarket alarm. Just call around to Auto security shops in your area and ask them what they have.

Clifford makes something called SmartWindows, which gives me the following:

1) One-touch up and down for all windows
2) Auto up all windows when alarm is armed
3) Auto down all windows if I want when I disarm to let the hot air out
4) Crack windows on arm

Don't have the sunroof hooked to it
Gotta have a Clifford alarm to get this.

Thanks, NSXNEXT, I'll look into the Clifford. I'm guessing I'd be able to hook up the sunroof to it too if I wanted. About how much was this system if you don't mind me asking, and what other features does it have?

if you want to save some cash get a viper. has all the same features. i just got mine installed but still waiting for my sunroof module. by the way, dei who makes viper and other alarms bout clifford. i had clifford and it was nice but you can get most of the same stuff with the viper. and i love my new car starter.

So did you guys basically just left the factory alarm intact but just not used? The aftermarket alarms haven't resulted in any weird side effects with the car's electrical system?

U just leave factory in there and it works with your alarm.
