I'm contemplating purchasing a CL-S. All the info online and in the brochure on the car says the headlights are auto-off. Do they also turn on automatically (like at dusk)? Is there a delay to the auto-off, or do they just turn off when the car is turned off?

Could one of you experts let me know???

 

If you have the lights in the "on" position they will go on when you unlock the door or open the door. But they do not go on when it gets dark automatically. Once you leave the car with the lights in the "on" position, they will go out after 30 secs or something like that.

 

Thanks for the info. On my 300M (soon to be gone!!!), the lights come on and go off automatically dependent upon how light it is. Sometimes they come on when I drive through a particularly wooded area. They are overly sensitive.

I like the sound of the Acura's headlights better.
