audio question
ok, i asked this question in the A/V forum, but nobody really saw it, so im posting here.
I'm thinking about adding a rockford amp and jl 10w3 to the stock bose system. All I need is a little extra bass, I'm not ready to change the whole system out just yet. But my question is, by adding the sub/amp, will it have any adverse effects on the system as a whole? Any comments/things I should know before doing this?

It will improve it....
It did not change anything on my system. Install is not cheap. Some of the members have added a Basslink and have had good feeback. Much cheaper way to go...

Install is pretty straight forward. I just installed an aftermarket amp and a sub-box in my brother's CL-S, way easier than my TL as I had to remove my rear seats to access the wirings. It took me less than 2 hours to do all the wirings from start to finish. A little extra bass will do wonder to the system.
Install is pretty is easy all I did was get one of those RCA convertors that I hooked up to my rear speaker to the amp and it sounds real good for now. I havent had time to install my interior speaker amp ect. I ran 2 12" xtants with a 600 watt mono xtant amp and it pumps. So im sure one JL is plenty.
