ATTN: ppl who have gotten in a wreck. save $$$
I saw the large amount of replies of people who have scraped their bumpers or hit this and that... then one member on the board said that his dealership was gonna charge him over 400 just to repair a bumper isntead of replacing it...
Well when I got in my wreck Austin519 suggested someone he knew could get OEM parts painted nad shipped for cheap... I got a price on a front bumper from this guy for a 2003 NBP front bumper for 380 shipped... or somewhere about that... 387 maybe... anywyas that's painted and shipped... really cheap... SO, the guy has a screen name on AIM... I'm actually proly gonna order my sister's accord front bumper from him since she just hit a parked car recently and messed up her bumper (she's a young girl driver, what can I say!) anyways the guy's screen name is
h-o-n-d-a-c-u-r-a-w-o-r-l-d (take out the "-" symbols. the a is shared between honda and acura and then there's a world at the end... I couldn't say acura and world together b/c they bleep it out... I think it's really stupid that acl.com would block out aw.com from anything on our postings... but that's for a different thread)
I ended up having insurance take care of my wreck so no big deal but hopefully you guys will get some use out of this... good luck and drive safe...

Thanks for the info, but...
I'd rather have a part as large as a bumper painted at a quality body shop so the paint will be accurately painted, matched, and possibly blended to the body panels.

The job is undetectable in all shades of lighting.

This is turning into a dumb 'uh-huh' and 'na-ah' thread. I'm exiting here.

well back to the topic at hand, if you're looking for a good deal on OEM parts then holler at this guy... I: don't get anything for advertising for him but he's one of the best prices I've seen... painted or not it's a good deal... hope you guys get all your cars fixed and make sure you do it right the first time... I'm outta here..
