has anyone tried the other ebay headers like OBX? are they any better than XS headers? or are the best headers beside comptech, XS? for the money i mean, i want something cheap to replace my slighly CRIMPED downpipe. thats right, as if the OEM headers werent restrictive enough mine are bent lol. so i think changing mine would give better than usual performance gains.

OBX headers were one of the first alternatives to Comptech. But they had tons of problems.

I just got this back....
-------------------------

Thanks for writing about our items you are interested in.

The reason we are currently banned from listing items
on EBay is due to the fact that we are involved in litigation with a
legal rights owner of some items that decided to contact Ebay and
report
our listings for trade “ DRESS” violation. They stated that we
have OUR
ITEMS look like theirs, to lure buyers to our auctions in order to
confuse them. This is considered a infringement of copyright.

Since they swore to GOD under penalty of Perjury this is the case,
EBay
has revoked us from trading on their site indefinitely.

In the meantime, we are still in business, still accepting orders and
if you want anything we are happy to assist you.

Thanks for your understanding,

Gee, I wonder why this happened? Maybe b/c they write Comptech style or HKS style or Turbonetics turbo. This company is trash. I can't wait until they go out of business.

30k miles on mine and they have been trouble free and fit like a glove.

Only thing i would recommend is head down to the hardware store and get 6 new bolts to bolt them together with. I used M10x30 bolts. M10x40 will work as well.

so you've had 30k miles? how many years has it been?
m10x30 or m10x40... what is the "correct" size to use?

I had my headers installed last night... I have a few gripes that make me reconsider if i want these headers..

1. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THE VTEC SWOOSH?!!
2. SOUNDS LIKE A NORMAL EVERYDAY V6 UNDER LOAD NOW
3. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HISS NOISE WHEN EVER I TOUCH THE GAS
4. THIS FUCKING HISS NOISE IS PISSING ME OFF
5. THE A-PIPE FITMENT TO THE MANIFOLDS PRETTY MUCH SUCKED
6. THIS HISSING NOISE WAS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED...I'VE HAD HEADERS ON NUMEROUS CARS BEFORE... THIS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. IT SOUNDS LIKE A LEAK BUT I'VE HAD THEM LEAKED TESTED..NONE.

GOOD THINGS
1. ABSOLUTELY PULLS HARDER THEN STOCK ONCE YOU HIT 4500 RPM
2. EXHAUST NOISE AT THE MUFFLERS SOUNDS CLOSE TO AN NSX NOW... COOL

AGAIN, I MISS THE VTEC TONE!! ITS HARD TO DEAL WITH THAT...SINCE THAT WAS ONE THING THAT ATTRACTED ME TO THIS CAR. ITS LOST ITS CHARACTER... SO I GUESS WE'LL SEE HOW LONG I KEEP THEM ON.

ALSO DID YOUR HEADER BOX HAVE 3.0L ACCORD STAMPED ON IT? MINE DID...

Its been less than a year since my 6 speed swap, (about 27k). Either size will work/correct. The 30 or 40 is just the length of the bolt. (make sure to pick up nuts to go with the bolts)
