Apology

I would like to apologize to everyone who had to read the inane "Domestic Owners" thread. In the future I will try and restrain myself from doing/posting stupid crap. Also to the dude that owns the CL and the Beamer in GA. Please accept my apology.

Apology accepted. It's good you're big enough to say that.... many others are not.

Threads that get nasty, out of control, or are generally useless are locked and moved to the "Moderator's Archive". I moved this particular thread this morning. We put it in the "Moderator's Archive" so that we moderators get to go read the material when we're bored

It's pretty funny stuff sometimes after the fact.

No damage done. Its not like any of us were going to convince him [newsance] of anything. He's too rigid. There are two things it is impossible to have a discussion about... politics (conservative vs. liberal) and cars. I liked that thread... I thought my buge dissertation of a post was pretty darn good. Can't the mods just put it back up to my post?

I definitely appreciate that. I might be able to rest tonight witout crying myself to sleep, JK...

Your later posts indicated you were being light natured which is sometimes a hard thing to notice on these forums. We are all here to enjoy ourselves and spread/gain knowledge.

BTW, we probably have more in common than you realize. I also work as an engineer (the type depends on who I am visitng that day) developing test, measurement and control systems for the industrial manufacturering and process markets. With a good deal in the automotive area. In fact, two current systems being developed are for automotive suppliers.

Take care,
Steve

Awww, I didn't care. I thought it was funny.

Next time you are in Austin, let me know.

I will let you know when I get to Austin. Hopefully this fall for b-school. Anyway, I thought the thread was pretty funny in a third grade kind of way. I particularly liked my one post recommending the one Firebird owner wear a maxipad so he wouldn't get blood on his seat. Do you guys think that would work as a pickup line at a bar? Is there anyway I could have access to the thread? I want to read it again......lol.

Should we start a new thread about the old one? I hope you moderators read through the whole thing. Talk about the deevolution of man. It got pretty bad at the end. I thought it was pretty funny though. I know I was joking around, but honestly folks, am I missing something. Is a '91 Firebird really a cool car? Please clue me in. I liked the one's guys quote to the Firebird owner about "how do you expect your date to turn over if your engine doesn't?" God, that was poetry. Shakespeare couldn't have said it any better. Why can't I let this go? Am I obsessive/complusive?

I think we should end this conversation here. rest assured I'm SURE many people share your view on the 1991 Firebird But there are also many people who feel like that about our CL-S...remember, it's all subjective...
