apexi coilovers vs teins

apexi coilovers vs teins

whats the main differnce between them. both of the 98-02 versions will fit our cars right?? any one know wheres the cheapest place to find em??

I think the apexi are geared more toward performance, while the TEIN SS are more for ride comfort....not that the TEINs don't perform decent (esp. when set all the way stiff), but I think the apexi's are more performance oriented

i think that mainly applies to the Apex'I N-1 Dampening Kit... just like Teins, there's two different product lines... the Tein SS and the Tein Basics, i would assume that the WS and the Basics were about the same... more for ride comfort than for preformance...

could anyone go more in depth explaining the differences between the basics and the performance, for the tiens.

Since you're speaking about strictly the coilovers, they both are height adjustable. The difference b/w Tein Basics and Tein SS is that the Tein-SS is 16-way dampening adjustable, whereas the Basics you can't adjust the dampening.

The Apexi can go lower than the Teins. The Apexi are slightly stiffer than the Teins. The Teins have adjustable shocks. Both do not have pillow mounts.
