Hi guys, I need your help again, what do you think about that sun shade?
Anyone uses smth like that? I just dont want to tint my rear window, due to previous experience with removing tint from it to pass inspection
Any response appreciated.

Yuck! Can't you just tint them legal and pass inspection?

Why did you have to remove the tint off the rear windows?

That sunshade looks stupid, in my opinion, of course. What's the tint % law up there? I'd just go ahead and tint them anyway.

I don't like those sunshades. But at least you can choose to use it or not.

I have that exact same sunshade for the very same reason, and tint/re-tint my sides every two years for inspection.

For the non-DC'ers, technically DC has the most stringent tint laws in the country... no tint is allowed on the front sides, and 50% VLT for the rear (except registered limousines, busses, or hearses), and cars with AS3, factory tinted windows.

Have 35% rear, and 20% on sides... With the solar e-clips shades my rear appears to be <5% VLT.

The Solar E-Clips shade, however, sometimes is too dark and can be difficult to see through at night-

You are welcome to see how mine is installed. I have the adhesive clips towards the top of the back window, and the bottom shade is wedged towards the bottom.

PM me if you want to check it out-
