Anybody ever try it out? It's suppose to cool the air and colder air does equal more power, but...it sounds a bit far fetched...

The theory is sound. But unless the "bulb" is large and cold enough to kill the air temperature as it sucks passed it at the high speed it does it probably won't do much. Also, if the bulb is too big it will provide less room for the air to travel in the tube?
Might work, but I'd wanna know how cold the bulb gets and see a before/after dyno before I bought.

I just don't see it working. Intercooler sprayer works because it's hosing a metal piping system with cold liquid which gives it time to lower the temperature, with a lot of surface area contact between cold metal and cooled air..
I mean think about it you can whisk your had through fire and it wont burn because it doesn't have enough time to conduct the heat - I think this would be the same idea as having this bulb in your intake tract, in which air moves quite fast around the bulb without any prolonged contact with cold metal.
