Anyone see the 2002 Toyota Camry Solara?

I was just wodering because I heard that they changed the look of it a little bit. Does it look any better? And does anyone know how the SE-V6 (manual) performs in a 0-60? Thanx...

My friend just bought a four doors around $22k.
Very large & roomy inside and the funny thing is it has a better sound system than our car, go figures?
Engine is very quick & quiet for 4 bangers.
Extremely good gas milage
But when you move up to v6 it costs around $31k for fully loaded.
V6 put out 192 hp. That's no comparisonto our CL-S/TL-S
01-S
Focals & Xtant, Polarg M6, V1
Comptech sways & need more mods

Your friend got ripped off or he must of not gotten the TRD package. cause 22k for a 4 cyl is WAYY too much.

Solara SE 4-cyl. Manual $19,850
Solara SE 4-cyl. Automatic $20,650
Solara SE V6 Manual $22,170
Solara SE V6 Automatic $22,970
Solara SLE V6 $25,160
Solara SE 4-cyl. Convertible $25,980
Solara SE V6 Convertible $28,530
Solara SLE V6 Convertible $31,010

If you're considering the purchase or lease

The tail lights are different too...I dig the new look. I personally like the solara because I drive it almost on a daily basis (My girlfriend has a 2000 model). Although it does feel a little bit sluggish on turns sometimes, it is extremely smooth and beats the hell out of my 1st gen CL gas mileage....she gets at least 300+ miles per tank while I barely make the 210 mark. It does not compete with the new CL's, but I don't really think that was toyota's first objective..this model has yet to see a new engine and major redesign like the CL has gotten.

Oh and speaking of the tail lights being different, since I cracked my gf's driver side tail light, I am going to see if I can fit the new ones on

Just my .02

In order for Toyota Camry/Solara/Avalon to ever look better they would have to destroy the molds and start over. They're all focking hideous.

With an automatic, Car & Driver got an 8.2, and 7.0 with the 5speed.

Well they have to be doing something right....I mean the camry is one of the top 10 most bought cars..

I like the covert. too, but I would rather them make a hard top convert. though...just my preference.
