Anyone run 225/50/17 's?

Just wondering you ever saw a 225/50/17 on our cars. To much meat? I dont wanna drop to a 45 series.. My GF will kill my wheels...

I ran Michelin Pilot A/S in 225/50/17 on stock rims.

No problems at all.

Zapata also ran those until he bought some SSR's. Don't think he liked the way the launched or something.

Same here!!! I also have CT springs/sways and konis installed.

Cen you right away tell that they are no the stock size?

Do they look to baloony to you?

what about a 215/55/17?? I see they are hard to find in that size...

yeah i have the 225/50/17's on stock rims...used to have rubbing with CT springs on stock shox...now with Koni's, no more

215/55/17's are a weird size, altho if yer lowered, i'd HIGHLY advise against the size...sidewall will be too high
