anyone raced an NSX with SS??

since SS decreases the HP on the NSX to 252, is there a chance we can actually beat it??

I'm gonna take a guess here, but I think the NSX probably weighs a heck of a lot less than the CL-S.

Does anyone know the numbers off the top of their head?

We're still gonna get smoked, both cars might have around the same hp, but the auto NSX weighs 3208 lbs. and the CL-S without navi weighs 3470 lbs. Plus, the NSX is RWD, has better weight distribution, etc.

And is the hp loss caused by the auto transmission (do they rate it after the loss in hp?), 3.0L (instead of 3.2L in the manual version), or both?

The NSX would probably need a couple of Sumo wrestlers in the car to keep it fair (stock vs. stock). I think it is a few hundred pounds lighter (at least).

No chance in hell, unless the CL-S was heavily modded.

Uhm, NO.

Weight: 3204 lbs.
Horsepower: 252 hp @ 6600 rpm
Torque: 210 ft-lbs. @ 5300 rpm

The weight diff alone will cause problems. RWD won't help either.

on the highway, in sport shift, we can hang with a 91 manual NSX...my friend Han has one and last summer before I had my CAI we played on the highway from 80-220km/h and he did not pull on me and I couldn't gain on him...
