Anyone know about the Aladdin2000?

I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the aladdin 2000 alarm system? It looks pretty cool and I think it comes with a remote start system plus a paging system for when your alarm is tripped. Here is a pic:

I really need an alarm because my factory remote unlock/lock feature is disarming itself a lot..

You can read more on the alarm itself here:

The main problem with that is to find a professional installer since it is brand new to US.

  • PIAA 19173/19170
  • Mobil 1 Oil/Oil Filter
  • X-Pel/Upgrade Cup Holder
  • Clifford G4 Solaris Remote Start Car Alarm
  • AEM CAI/Denso Iridium Spark

On its way: Comptech Sway Bar/Brake Line/WS Apexi Coilover/AEM Pulley

I believe he said that there is an installer right down my way...so the only problem for me is figuring out whether or not this is just a gimmick alarm or the real thing. I was either thinking of this or a clifford alarm.

I was thinking of gettin this alarm or the compustar alarms, they are very similar in that they both have a small status screen on the remote, and both have paging alerts. Wonder if anyone knows more about the Aladdin. Doesn't seem like many people have it.

At the point of that technology, you might as well just buy a laptop and hardwire into your car and have it start honking your horn when anything trip the laser sensors around your car. Another 'installed' feature could be that snakes come out from the bottom of the car and bite the living daylights out of the intruder!

Whatever happened to the days of a good ol' 'Viper' alarm system w/ 2 buttons on the remote?

That looks like a cool little system to have. It even has a turbo timer.

Looks pretty cool but here is the answer to all alarm questions: http://www.newgrounds.com/frames.php...ew.php?id=2137 Once you get one of these, you have no problems, I guarantee it!

How big is that unit? Cause its becomes any thing to carry around besides phone, and keys. Other than it, if it works it seems to be pretty cool. How much is it?

You could do that...you just need to install the hydros first....

Imagine parking too close to a curb with that system and watching your car smack that shit.

How about the Crimestopper CS2005FM? It is very similar to the Aladdin, and I know someone who has one (he says it is a very good system). Hit ebay and do a search for "cs2005" for the specs and features.

Well I ended up buying the alarm, but I have yet to get it installed! If you want, I can take out the aladdin fob and take a picture of it next to the acura fob. Also, I will take a picture of everything you get in the package....maybe someone might want to buy it? and just want to know what's in it

I mainly got this alarm because,
1. I could not afford the avantguard4
2. It comes with remote start.
3. It has the cool alarm fob.

The reasons why it isn't too big over here is because, and I am just typing what I have read, it was just released from Japan into the US.
