Anyone just install sways without springs??

I really don't want to lower the car, and have the side effect of going through tires quicker. But I do want to tone down that nasty sway in the turns.

Has anyone just installed the comptech sway bars, without adding the springs?
I am curious if just the sways would do the trick, and the effect on the ride with just the sways.
Or, is the the combination of both springs and sways that is really needed, and how has tire wear suffered?

thanks!!

Yeah I wonder too. I'm also thinking about sways only, or sways and Koni's while retaining the stock springs.

The latter seems like it would tone down the the turn sway and some of the brake dive, too. Maybe someone can explain why this would or wouldn't be a good solution.

Dan,

Thanks for being a guinea pig (not that you really are a pig ). I look forward to your impressions. Knowing the costs involved would be helpful too.

Thanks, I'll be waiting to see how they work without the springs. I didn't want to lower my as*, I like it where it is, high and tight Just wanted to reduce some jiggling.
