Anyone with a HELMS or an acura mechanic...

I posted this in another thread, but here's my question:

I was changing my ATF, and I had to disconnect a wiring harness right next to the ATF fill hole. I forgot to re-connect it and it felt like the torque converter never "hooked up". I realized the mistake, re-connected it, and the car drove perfectly again.

What the hell does this wire do? It's on top of the tranny, below the brake resovoir.

On p. 14-136 of the Helm manual, it shows that wiring harness connected to the "speed sensor".

I'm going off of memory here, but I think the harness is brown. It's for the VSS (vehicle speed sensor). When disconnected your speedometer and odometer won't work and your transmission will be eternally confused.

That would be the one! Definitely freaked the tranny for the minute that I realized I forgot to reconnect it.
