anyone hear of this smog law?
anyone hear of this smog law?
I went into a chevy dealer awhile back and was killing some time by having a brief conversation with the service guy.
I inquired about putting a larger engine (v8) into my current v6 camaro. He told me that the new smog laws prohibt it. They will not pass if the orginal engine is not in there.
Is this true? I sure hope not. I want to get the 3.5 upgrade.

This is how it works, as long as the motor is the same year or newer then your car you are okay.
For example, if you have a 97 integra and want to drop in a type R motor or something as long as the motor is the same year or newer you are okay
