when you open the hood there is a plastic piece that goes across the entire car and attaches behing the headlight housings, well on the passenger side that plastic is cracked, badly, right at the pin/screw holding it in, my guess is that someone tightened it until it cracked, anyone else have this problem? and also is this the core support for the radiator? id hate for it to break and parts start flying out the bottom of my car, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

It is not the core support for the radiator. If it is the part I think you're talking about, it's just a shroud (part #4)



It's about $27. i had to replace mine. Just take it off for now and replace it.
