Anyone had problems with....

The Battery Leaking.

Mine started leaking. I noticed when my Titianium Plated + Battery Terminal was completely corroded. I noticed the little bits of blue looking fuzz all over the battery.

WHAT Battery should i replace it with ?

You shold be warranteed for that, NJ_CLS Even though the battery is a high wear item, it shouldn't be leaking like that. I had a battery replaced in my GS-R after a year and a half for nothing....take it to the dealer, dude...they'll take care of you.

Well, if it’s an early build CL it’s coming up on 3-Years old.
You really can’t ask for much more then 3-4 years out of a factory battery especially with the weather in New Jersey.
Plus he has lots of stereo mods which are extra duty on the battery.

I doubt the dealer is gonna spring for a new one, but I guess it won’t hurt to ask.

I would say clean up the terminals and make sure everything is tight first before replacing it.
Take it to SEARS for a free battery diagnostic check.

I'd be very surprised to see this one fixed under warranty. Just save yourself time and go get a new one. It's still one of the very few cheap part replacements on a car.

Should i get a DIEHARD battery or some other brand. I have no problems with buying a new battery. They are cheap enough. I do have to get a new positive terminal since it is ready to fall apart.

I’ve always replaced my factory batteries with Die-Hard when they go.
Over the years I’ve only ever had ONE go on me early and they replaced it of course.

I think for a GOLD model with an 8-Year pro-rated warranty you’re looking at 70-80 dollars.

Is your battery actually leaking? Or just corroded?

What brand titianium plated connections do you have?

BTW: I'd go with an Optima battery.

You may only if you had your car serviced by the book, by the same dealership AND they like you, you may get a good will battery. Mine died about a month ago, I just bought a new one that was better than the OEM. All you early CLers, you can expect the OEM batteries to start taking a dump ! They also say the indicator light is a joke......Mine was still glowing, but the car wouldn't start......you figure.....

Optima batteries. Here was my issue.....All my local shops weren't sure which was better for our car. Yellow top, blue top, red top yadaaadadadayayaygfafyaydyady, so I avoid sales folks/owner who are "hesitant" about anserwing my question about a fairly new product. Of course they will sell you anything over the Internet.....so I did what Shawn did and went with batteries that have a good standing reputation......Optima who ? Blue, red what ? Yellow..........oh forget it.......:P

I guess I'll just head over to Sears. Ron from StreetEffectz told me just to get the Diehard SUV battery, says it should fit and has lots of power. I trust him.
