would itb's fit under the hood? and you can run forced induction on itb's. the rb26dett has itb's the e30 and e46 m3's have itb's. a few other do as well, those are just the first couple i could think of. all you need is a surge tank for the throttle bodies.

And to answer this thread, a custom ITB set-up is probably gonna run you 3-4k easily and at most you'll probably see 15-20 hp. A supercharger will get you more power for the same or probably even less $$$ and is more practical for a daily drive as you will still have an air filter.
You can have individual filters for each throttle body.

My statement was.... And wasn't soley based on itb's, I was stating that the j32a2 can be a fast n/a car! (Not just talking about ITB's) Forged pistons, itb's, ported and polished head, cams, connecting rods, crank shaft, etc. But like I said before...... Its gonna be expensive!

You are def right about the s/c. and Im not knocking the s/c or turbo. I was simply stating I would like to build my cl n/a. Yes there are many more american muscle cars than imports, trust me I know my Dad use to drag race and compete full-time in the 70's and him and my Grandfather built his Challenger to be a fuckin monster! I try not to compare the two.

if you want n/a power, just do a 3.7L utilizing the 3.5 crank/rods you will only need some custom bore piston to push out another .2L which shouldn't be an issue. at this point heat is a major problem. you will want to make sure you open up the oil pathways to allow for better cooling. 300whp won't be a problem with a 3.7, in fact i think the 6 spd could see 350whp all n/a. oh yea, if you want n/a power on the J do not lower compression.

^^^^^ I was def. thinking of something along those lines, similar to what cocoa did.
Although, I'm not sure what head he used if it was form a j32a2, or j35.
I dont what the chance is to get a j37 block, I think it would be easier to just get a j35 block and utilize my head.

Another thing is, (And some one please chime in and let me know) What will I have to do to get a 6speed swapped in? Or is it even possible? cause' I thought they dont bolt right up?
What do I need to de that whole conversion? and has anyone done it?
