Anyone else experiencing a squeeky seat?

My Passenger seat squeeks. It's driving my nuts! Anyone else have this problem? For some reason it's comforting to know that others are bothered by little things like this too.

I always think it's my springs..but it could be the seats.

Yep I got that too. Ive taken it to the dealer 2 times already. The next time I go there I'm going to tell them to make sure it works before I get it back.

I don't have a CLS but in my M3 I have the same thing where it rattles a little bit. Took it to the BMW dealer and they told me that it was the rails. They ordered new rails and I'm looking for some time where I can go there get them installed.

Check the rails.

Like we've mentioned before on this site, it's the seat back rubbing the seat base. Next time you're driving and hear it making that noise, stick you hand in between the two and it will stop (it also stops when someone is sitting in it). If you'll keep something (like a towel) stuffed between the two, you should hear that noise anymore.

The dealers can be idiots.
Check the four bolts that hold the seat to the floor. Guarantee one if not all of them could be loose. Same thing happened to me, that solved it.
