Anybody Using Aftermarket Brake Pads?

I'm considering Porterfield R4-S and Endless Vita Nuova pads for the fronts right now. Both are about 120 a pair. Anybody use these?

There is at least one member here who is using the Porterfield R4S -- he likes them and is using the slotted disks that Tim used to sell. They are also being used in the front and rear. The problem is... I haven't seen him around here for months!

There is that member over on TL Forum (TLS section) that got the "new" front rotors and Zeals -- did you ask him about the Zeals (Endless pads)?

Allright I found the guy, says only good things about it. The pads do have to be modified a bit first though. Oh yeah I forgot, I'm considering EBC Greenstuffs also.

Hey Eric, is it OK to install new pads on the fronts only?

Acura does...

(When I get around to swapping out the rotors one day, I plan to do both front and rear... but that's just me...)

(And, for some strange reason I drive down a steep hill to get home with the wheels too hot to touch and the rotors have never warped and the car stops great -- go figure [I did bed the pads in *and* they make way too much dust])
