Anybody try a cup holder replacement?

Hey guys i was wondering if anybody has changed their AT cupholders with the MT one. i like the slide better than the flip open. has anyone tried this? dont know just a thought for myself just wondering if anybodies tried this or has any positive opinions on this thanks

I'd like to know too, dont have time to search, but this is something i'd be interested in, though it'd have to be cheap(i never close the damn thing anyways).

I know a lot of people switch the cup holder itself to a 2003 model, but not the cover.

it's doable, just have to do some custom work... it can be done, just gotta pay (cover up hand brake and seat warmers)

I personally like the flip up cupholder more than the 6MT slide version, but our foot operated E-brake is definitely filled with gayety. A floor to console E-brake conversion...now that would be a nice DIY.

holy shit i hate the foot E brake....but then again it keeps me from doing crazy shit like i did in my accord where the E brake was on the console

I think the AT ones look like crap. Almost every AT I've been is has had at least one of the doors broken. I test drove an AT at an Acura dealership and both the doors were broken off and sitting in the cup holders (along with some other random parts). The 2 different depths are nice too for keeping even big drinks outta the way of your shifting (not that your doing a lot of it in an auto).
