Anybody with a supercharged 5-AT using the CT high boost pulley?

So, is anybody out there with a supercharged auto CL-S using the high boost pulley?

How much of a difference in comparison to the stock boost pulley?

Auto TL-S here. If you have 93 octane at the pumps, put it on and tell us what you think. If you do, you'll want more!

If you don't like it with the extra ponies, just take it off.

Well, dont know if you want to hear my opinion? I have a high boost pulley and only pulled 245hp at the dyno. The stock pulley is shit, I can't believe Comptech made such a low HP gain supercharge. I replace the stock pulley just 3 days after I installed the supercharge. 40 hp gain is nothing for a 3500lbs CL-S, it could be huge if that gain is for a 1800lbs CRX. 3 +- psi! just not cutting it. I installed the high boost pulley and it made a lot of different. This is just my opinion and I also blown an engine.

Until we get 93, no HBP for me. I'll take the extra 40-45 at the wheels anytime. It's also very driveable !!

I'm still waiting for the supercharger I have everything else though...including the modified shroud, plumbing, etc.

The guy has shipped everything to me except the actual blower unit.

I'm pretty sure there something wrong with your setup.

Look at the base dynos for the 3.5L, and the dynos of the 3.2L engines /w CT headers and Intake.

H/I on a 3.2L are within 10-20whp! and the 3.5L is right on spot /w your dyno.

Wish I had more insight into the problem. But something is definetly wrong.

Or, am I misunderstanding... you only have the S/C. And haven't done the 3.5L conversion yet. (I thought someone had a 3.5L SC, might not have been you! sorry if so)

Do yourself a favor, put the hbp on right off the bat. It's kind of a pain to change the alternator pulley in the first place, and after the fact, it seems to be a bigger pain.

Got the HBP on the shelf do to our 91 octane I have a Unocal station close that has 100 racing gas but at $4.50/gal! BUT if prices keep going up, it won't be that much of a issue.

I found out that my Supercharge belt was slipping and my fuel pressure was low.

If your FPR was bad, it's probably a good thing your belt was slipping too.

I would install it, pull the IMRC actuator connector and try it out. There may not be an issue with the IMRC unplugged..
