Anybody know about...
I'd like to ease into the Japanese car thing. I'd rather not go new. For me 99.98% of the fun of car ownership is restoration. At Ayers Imports theres a Datsun 240Z. Hasn't really moved on it's own power in at leasr 15 years. No major rust that can't be worked out. I'd like to restore it and drive it because it's got good lines. A neat wedgey shape. Can anybody give me yay or nay info on this car? Or perhaps direct me to a board that deals with this kind of car? It looks like it might be fun to drive.

I'd do a search on google for nissan forums. There shold be plenty out there.

I have a 77 280 that I bought from the original owner. Try zcar.com. Great archives, heavy volume, lots of good info. I hope you do it. Z cars a great fun. I rebuilt my motor and added lots of good parts and it really moves now. It's a nice contrast to the CL-S. Very different driving experience. Enjoy Z ride!
