Hey all, Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced much in the way of 2nd gen cl/cl-s driveshaft problems. I've got an '01 cl-s auto w/ 81k and I'm getting a funny thump, thump, thump, noise at all speeds on the front right. Wheels/tires balanced, lugs all tight, only happens on the right, gets worse in a medium right curve, and it's intermittent. Not brakes or tranny as far as I can tell...I'm stumped...I'm thinking has to be part of the driveshaft assembly on the right side. Any ideas or common stories? THX!!!

I just had my car in the dealer for a problem similar to that. The axle was loose, and something else they didn't specify (and I didn't ask). They said they had to tighten up a few things.

Check your axle. Mine was noticably loose...I grabbed it and I could wiggle it back and forth.
