anybody got any ideas for some rims on my car? would 17s fit?

The 17" rims should fit, but I haven't tried it. There was someone looking for some stock CL Type S rims the other day for their CLP. The CLS has the steering rack changed to allow a less-tight turning circle, so you will want to check around about offsets and widths (just my opinion).

In all honesty the few cars I have driven with 18's or 19's have had very harsh rides.So stick with 17's.Your best source for high quality wheels is probably The Tire Rack,you can reach them at WWW.TIRERACK.COM.They have excellent service and sell only high quality wheels.They also know exactly what wheels fit what car.If you go the website click on the icon for shopping for wheels and you will see after you set it up a side view of your car that you can plug wheels into.I have purchased at least five sets of wheels and tires from them and have never even had the slightest complaint.Jens
