D.C. Has indefinetly scrapped the project for the v6 .. cost -vs- resale wasnt enough to make further development cost effective for them ....

Mole burrows back down....

Instead of answering our questions why don't you just write an essay on the current situation of the aftermarket industry for the TL/CLs

I know of another company making headers for the accord V6. Should fit our cars. If I remember correctly, the company is called Warped Speed.....or something similar....forgot...
Well, the good thing is that the headers are supposedly the same quality as comptech's. Also it is going to be around $700-$800, and it produces more power.

RIIIGHT.......if they produce it for $700-800...I guarantee they will be MIG welds..and look cruddy...if there was anymore power to be realized from the headers....wouldn't all the R&D from Comptech have done it?? Considering all the time on the flowbench they must have spent!?! Or if that car does produce more hp...I'll bet it won't be CARB legal...OFF-ROAD USE only...which would kill about 20-30% of the TOTAL MARKET for v6 headers...because most of us that buy stuff live in Cali!! Thus, not making them practical to sell for $700...so, to compensate for lost time and money spent in R&D and initial manufacture....they'll have to raise the price...so, in reality....your $700 headers for a V6...is a pipe dream. Just giving you a reality check.

Oh btw, the retail value of most headers for v6s is $1000+...and no one has decided to make one for Toyotas..(considering how many are on the road in various forms)...why? Because of the initial expense to design one.

Go to their website. http://www.warpspeedperformance.com/upcoming.htm

I dont remember where I heard that it was cheaper or better. But I do know that its good quality, like the comptech's.

well you cant really compare an accord V6 header prices with NSX V6 header prices, because they mark up a ridiculous amount just because its an "NSX" even Eibach or H&R springs for the NSX cost 3 times more than an average car...but im sure the coil wound is the same process...
