hey man... i saw a Benz CL, and he had the damn nastiest looking rims on there... but who cares... with a car like that, anything looks good on it, and no matter what he puts, its still pimp... especially chrome dubs...

props to him and toyota btw. thats some sweet shit.

Edmunds absolutely loves this car. The write-up is the best I've ever seen them give any car on the planet.

I don't like the fact that the car weights 3,840 pounds almost as much as a M5. I would also want high 4's in 0-60 for that money.

although the car looks awsome, its fading fast, you can see them sitting in dealer lots, plus they take a big hit as soon as there registered, no mystique like the CLK430/55 cabrio(i want, i want i want, but i have to wait a year) - they should have left production low and kept demand high, lexus got greedy and now its costing them

Not to sound like a dick (i know how people on this board hate these statements) but my dad just sold his and did not take that bad of a hit. Sticker was around 62 and he ended up selling it for 60.5. Granted it only had 800 miles on it since last oct but they really dont take a "hit."
If anyone is seriously thinking about buying one they are great automobiles...absolutely wonderful. I personally like the new clk better especially since that will also be a hardtop convert this coming year.

i know people who bought a clk430 cabrio, drove it for a year, put 13-14 thousand miles on it, and traded it back in for what they paid for it

Way to much money for a heavy, slow car. Then you have to spend another $5-$10k to pimp it out and make it slower with the big, heavy rims....

Don't get me wrong, it's not bad looking, but I could think of a lot of cars I'd buy for $65k over that one.....

I love that car! For 60K, Its awesome! I can't think of too many cars that look better for that price! That car is not that slow (a little bit faster than us) but then again it looks awesome!

I mainly was talking about the new clk style. The old one was nice but I think this new one is alot better.

BTW, this car isnt slow.

The car posted before was in Japan and had the full chrome wheels. (19's and 20's) This car is one of the very first (if not the first) in the states with those wheels, silver polish and 20's all around. I think it looks better than the previous one.

I believe he's looking at the twin supercharger setup...

You're all right.. it's not super slow....

What I meant was it's slow in relation to it's size and cost. There are faster cars to be had for that amount of money.. however, I realize that drop tops are heavier by default, thus slowing them down.. even though pimp factor is raised

It's a hot looking car... but I guess just not my style... I'd rather have an M3 for that $$.....
