Another rice burner, burned to a crisp
Two young guys (looked like they just turned 16) were in a black civic (took off the badges, it was so hard to tell what it was and they were revving their engine next to me at a stoplight yesterday. This civic was completely riced out, had the coffee can muffler (must add about 50 hp ), had a few stickers (good for a couple horsepower ), those weird gauges attached to their left side near the windshield (my thought is that these just add weight, no matter how much).
Well, first light, I didn't want to waste my gas on these guys because gas here just went up to $2.09/gallon and I just filled up a few miles ago. Anyways what do you get from killing a ricer and embarassing them in front of lots of traffic? Anyways, they took off at the first light and I did just regular shifting, no racing. Next light was about 500 ft. away. We lined up, and I thought "why not show these ricers a real car?". With that said, my engine went up to around 5000rpm and said fluently in german "M Power!!!" . After 100mph later and the car about 3 car lengths behind me, I switched my foot from "Kill" to "Stop the fun" pedal.
Thats my story. Wasted gas for no reason (actually maybe they might put some more stickers on that car to make it go faster). Maybe a huge rear wing might help for them to get a pop wheelie going at the start.

Why buy a special edition car and not drive it like it was meant to be driven

Well, maybe that shouldn't have been said by me. I'm 20. It sorta feels like now a days high school kids look like the 'young guys' and I keep forgetting where I stand. Oh well, either way, kicked their butts and sent them home packin' with their tail (coffee can muffler) between their legs.
As for the comment about beating them by ONLY 3 car lengths. I think they might have had something else in the car, but not sure. I think 3 car lengths is pretty fair, what do you think I should have beat them by?
