another rattle ... anyone have a fix?

So after successfully fixing the rattle in my rear deck (thanks to various people from here ), I've now got another real annoying one :'(

This one seems to come from the passenger side door/center pillar area. Very prominent when slowing down or speeding up. Metallic rattle. I have it scheduled for an appointment next week, but judging by the failure of the dealership to fix the rear deck rattle after 10 seperate visits and telling them exactly where it was, I doubt they will fix this one.

Anyone have this rattle? Anyone try fixing it?

It may be coming from the bowling ball trim from the passeger door. I figured that out myself after the retards at the dealer couldnt figure it out.

So do this:

Climb into the passenger seat and put in a cd which is bass-heavy. MAKE SURE U CLOSE THE DOOR. Then i'm pretty sure u'll hear a buzzing sound come from the fake wood trim. In mine, when i put against it, it stops. By ur description, i'm pretty sure ur having the same problem.

If its not the trim then i dont know what it is...
Good luck!

BTW - even tho i could do a quick fix by stuffing something under it, i'm gonna let the dealership deal with it.

I think the noise is more structural than trim vibrations. i hear occassional squeaks and stuff. thanks for the tip tho ... I have nothing to lose by checking it out, I'll give it a try !
