I'm gonna make this quick, 'cause I'm tired as shit. Anyways, ran an IS300 from 55-90'ish, give or take 5mph or so. Anyway, I pulled about 1 car length to the end of 2nd, and through the rest of the race, I must of walked him atleast another 3+ car lengths...it was ridiculous. I walked him so hard, that by the time I hit around 90 I just shut down. He ended up pulling a ricer fly-by on me as I had my arm out the window giving him the thumbs up. Dick. That's my story.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that he was egging me on for nearly 5 minutes on the freeway, as well as following me off the freeway. In addition, we raced when there were NO cars on the road.

I had a similar encounter with an IS300 earlier this week. Trying to cut my off on the onramp. Drop into 2 and fly by him. He was pissed because he was trying to catch up to me later on. Dropped to 4th and left him again. 3rd time he tried to tailgate me. Drop it into 3rd this time at 55mph and left him again.

 

WHY WHY WHY???

Do our cars have a big bright fucking flag that says "FUCK W/ ME I'M IN AN ACURA"? I dont get it I see people in nice cars all of the time and I dont try to fuck with them. It seems that our cars are pegged to be fucked with I guess. I have actually never once seen a modded IS300. As impossible as that sounds.

90% of IS300's I see are driven by younger girls and moms.

The other 10% that I see are modded w/ tint and wheels.

I would love to see what a turbo IS300 could do.

- most likely he wasn't modded, however I wasn't really paying attention
- I raced another IS300 that had intake and the outcome was similar, but the guy w/ the intake held up a tad better
- I can't remember what color the car was, I think it was black, and it had no tints
- for being stock, and me having I/H, they're not that slow. Stock vs. Stock, I see a REAL close race; driver dependent
- I hear you on the turbo'd IS300's...those things haul balls

The '07 IS sounds like it's gonna be pretty fast stock.

 

My friend had his IS300 turboed last year. He sold the kit, but is going to be turbo again before the summer ends. Wanna see it when it's done? We live like 40min north of Diego.
