I feel clutch slip

Damn, And I just got the car back from having a new oil pan put on and I just did sways last Saturday. Damn.

Going up a hill and the car is acellerating, it shifts into 3rd at 2000 rpm and then after a second or a half second the revs drop to 1750...this happens in all shifts except 1-2 (that I noticed, I will pay attention when driving to school tomorrow) Except in fift the drop off is like 3-400 rpm and its not instant, its a gradual drop after the shift. I have never noticed this on 26k miles with the car, and I am pretty sure that I would have...I don't feel any slip, but it seems like the tach is telling me that some is going on. I also feel like power is a tad lacking over the last little while, maybe that is the air warming up, but it does not feel as fast coming off of a light as it used to, say 2 months ago. :shakehd:

Also, if I go to a CL-S 6 MT will the sways on this car fit that car? If so I will just pull em off, what about the neuspeed upper strut bar?

 

sounds more like the torque converter locking/unlocking.

 

sometmes, the torque converter would freak me out when It unlocks in 2nd or 3rd and I see the rpm jumps by 1krpm... But I know it is the torque converter and just relax.

 

Odd, I have always felt it lock and unlock, but I have never seen the tach drop as it unlocks/locks...maybe I hadn't been paying as close attention earlier...
