annoying things on CL

my side mirror are the only things that have bothered me so far. They seem to out of place or something because they block a lot of view. Specially while turning, it can block a whole car from the view.

I know i'm making it hard to understand, but hopefully someone else here has had that problem and they can explain it better than me.

It just might be me because my seat is all teh way down and I sit pretty low too. so they line up with my eyes and block the view when looking out of the windows.

I'll take some pictures later on just to help make my point.

thats weird. it only slides back to the original postion for me.
also if your complaining that the side mirrors are too big, they redesigned them in 03 so that they are smaller.

dude i agree with the side mirrors. For some reason I am forever fixing that crap. Never can get it in the right angle for some reason. And the blind spot on the drivers side near the mirror as well. I almost ran over a few people because I can't see!
Maybe I should just move my chair up. Damn short chinese people

there's like some official way that your supposed to adjust the mirrors to. its recommended by the highway institute or something. you guys should google it. I'm using it and its great! I almost never turn my head now and all my blind spots are gone!

Werd. Had to turn the headlights on just the other night so I could look in the visor mirror. Guess it keeps you from killing the battery by leaving the visor open but still stupid.

Auto-dimming rear view mirror (unplugged mine). Dimming + 25% rear tint means you can only see the 2 little headlights in the rear view at night.

Navi sucks big time. Calculated routes SUCK.

Isn't there a button to turn the dimmer on and off?

Yeah but screw having to press it every single time you drive the car at night. With the rear view unplugged you don't have to press the button each time.

Mirrors were redesigned in 02-03 models.
I have no problems with my mirrors.

The car is a 8 year old design. I think nit picking & bitching about it now is a waste.

Replace it with the 03 cup holder, works like a charm.

I hate the a-pillar in our cars. Those things are so big that I've almost run over pedestrians because my view of them was blocked by those damn things.

got that right. I dont have a problem with the angles of the mirror, but a big one with the blind spots. I almost ran over a shit load of curbs. And specially when turning, sometimes u cant even see the pedestrians. They can even hide a whole car.

i'll have to look up those 03 mirros.

The cupholder can be changed to the new style, which are very good for me.
The road lamps can be wired to turn on with your parking lights, so thats an easy fix.
The truck is already pretty big for a coupe and there is a pass thru for long items. What do you have to haul?

Aim the headlights higher, but not so it blinds oncoming drivers and your going to have to be more exact on the interior accessories.

That can be fixed my replacing the retractor. Not an issue, its more like a wear/tear item.

You solved your own issue. BBKs. Thats what the aftermarket is for.

I dont have to press it every time. mine is off all the time. Maybe the 03's are different from the 01-02 rearview mirrors.

Seems 3 isn't quite enough for me most of the time in the winter. Need that 4th one to clean them fully.

It shouldn't be something that's broken in almost every CL. I wouldn't call that wear/tear.
