# SAE 5W-20 XL-7500 Synthetic Motor Oil


Is the 7500 series ok ?

 

use 5w30 or series 2000 0w30,,, the xl7500 was developed using base III stock to lower cost and compete with Castrol... it's ok if you change your oil often.... I use the 0w30 and change every 10k (filters are changed at 5k) I had the oil analysis completed after 10 k and the results were very positive,,, I could have kept the oil in there and was told to just change the filter.. but coming from the old school of 3k changes, 10k is in my comfort zone. I keep my cars for 200k miles,,, am thinking maybe more with this one..

Remember use a good filter,, Amsoil or Mobil1.. I just started using the over size Amsoil filter SDF44,, seems to be working ok. Good Luck
