I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks that the '01--'02 Cl-s looks better on the outside then the '03?

Maybe I am partial because I have an'01 CL type S , but seriously I think the new rims suck, and though the black in the headlamps makes it look more agressive, I think the chrome looks much better, the inside aluminum trim is hot on the '03 so the inside is better to me, but the only better thing on the outside is the exhaust tips, and thats about it


Any one agree with me???

yeah i like the all red lights better than the clear top half and the stock wheels on the 01' look better.....but if you get aftermarket wheels that makes no difference. the black headlights i'll have to see in person to know if i like that better.

 

the front grill bothers me for some reason...i wonder if it's cuz im just so used to the silver strip around the silver inner grill...now u got one that's body colored with the silver inner grill...needs some getting used to...

i agree the rims need to b replaced with the '01's/'02's/aftermkt...silver door handles add a nice touch, but the bodycolored handles don't bother me all that much...road lamps or lackthereof kill me even if they didn't serve much of a purpose, it's nice to have 4 lights instead of 2...from a distance with the 19224's or M6's installed, the 4 lights look kickass and intimidating!!

rear lights are iffy with me...the orange bulb doesn't sit well...if it was like a clear bulb, i'd prob like it much better.

 

I think the 2003 is hot the tailight(cleared upper turn signal), and the blackbackground headlight... Did you see the 2003 up close and personal?? I did saw it on the Chicago auto show and it's sweet ....

 

I also like the 01 and 02 type-s wheel better, as it seems most do. I thought I would like the smoked headlights in person, because I like them on my friends 01 Mustang, but on a silver CL, which I have, they just look like black eyes. I think I also like the chome grill and door handles better too, otherwise the car seems too plain. And I'd rather have the roadlamps. I do, however, like the new taillights, I wouldn't mind a set of those.
