Aluminum Door Sills protection
any type of clear tape or something to protect the door sills from scratches?

Yup, do what I did. Find a local dealer that sells Xpel, www.xpel.com, and buy a few feet of 2" 8mil proctection. Works like a charm.

how much is it, do they sell it online anywhere? local dealer is to far away to be worth it. I just want protection for when i get Acura guys to work on the car. They will prob step on it quite a bit.

Yup you can buy bulk stuff. Choose the 2 inch 8 mil Paint Protection Film from the list.

At the home page http://www.xpel.com/ click on "shop". Below the title "X-Pel Product Search", click on "Bulk Film". Then scroll down to "2 inch 8 mil Paint Protection Film" and click "Buy!". Enter the number of feet you want under "Quantity" and "Recalculate". Then "Pay for This". Good luck!

I have the aluminum ones and haven't noticed them getting scratched (after about 8 months). Is this film necessary?
