Anyone use the Alpha Wheel Lock?
Looks like a boot you put through the tire?
Clubs suck, auto lock sucks, so this is my other option.
Any opinions on them?

You live in Jersey City, right? I've seen a bunch of them around. I just use the Club. If someone wants it bad enough, they will take it.

 

if i was a thief targeting something i really wanted and it had one of those devices on it, i'd return with a wheel and swap it.

 

haha true.. but at least they'd have to swap the wheel then.
clubs kind of suck, there is a hollow point in it, and I've seen people break them with a hit of a baseball bat. Cracks the club and they can take it off.

Defintely true. If someone wnats it, doesnt matter what you have on there, they'll take it.

 

is there any use of having a club? our key has a chip so they cant start it unless they have your key.

getting towed is the only way (that i know of) to steal a CL...and a 'boot/wheel lock' will not stop a tow truck...

 

what part of JC you from, i grew up there in the heights

 

that would be pretty funny to watch someone try and get a club or something similar off a car with an airbag.... one wrong move and whap......lights out... i would pay money to see that.

 

I can remove a club in about 30 seconds.

Like Andre said, unless they tow it, there is really no other way to steal it without the keys.

 

I live in the heights not far from manhattan ave. I was looking into this auto lock thing because they say you can't freeze the lock, and it just more of a pain in the ass than some other security devices that are in the car. They have to try to gaet that thing off while they are standing outside of the car instead of cozy and warm on my leather seats.
I remember seeing something years ago, it looks like a club but it is electrified. Auto tazer or somethign like that, I wonder if its still around. or legal...
